For twenty years, they had shared their lives.

She, ambitious and determined, exercised her profession as a lawyer with passion, contributing to their accomplished and respected couple.
And one day, the husband finds himself in debt to a creditor and is forced to offer his wife as a bargaining chip. She refuses at first but ends up accepting without motivation.
